Time to Catch Up!!
Hello again! It has been years (that's so sad!!) since I have posted on here, so I am getting back into it and will be posting photos of big events from the past two years. So much has happened, and I got away from blogging, but I want to get back into keeping up with it for my own memory and as a way to encourage me to photograph life around me every day. I'd like to get caught up by May!

What a Wonderful World

Michelle and Ryan
My big sister's gettin' married y'all!
I'm very happy for Michelle and Ryan... they are made for each other!
My wish for you:
That you'll keep this fun alive.
That you'll savor sweet moments.
That you'll laugh together every day. often.
That you realize how lucky you are to have someone who will put up with you.
That you have a healthy, happy, and exciting future.
Best wishes for your beautiful life together...
Welcome to the family, Ryan!

green grass
Sometimes I have to step back and remind myself that I don't need to
compare my life to others. That I am so stinkin' lucky to be where I am
with who I'm with doing what I'm doing.
It's not easy to not think, "I
wish I was the one getting married, or I wish we could travel like
them." It's silly. And it's something I'm working on.
Life is what I make
it.
It's beautiful if I want it to be beautiful.
If my grass isn't green enough, I guess I better water it, right?!
But I'm lucky... my grass IS green!
And some day, all of my dreams will come true.
Slow and steady, right?
Today I choose happy. content. alive. peaceful. patient?

New Teaching Job
I am loving my new teaching job!! I teach pottery and art to 4-11 year-olds, and it has been wonderful so far. The children always love to be there, so it makes my work enjoyable. I even teach a Storybook Art class, which is right up my alley with my love of Childrens' books and the art that makes them so amazing. Pottery is very messy, but oh so fun! I can already tell the kids are improving their skills, and it's exciting to see how creative they get with clay. I like the people I work with and the program I work for, and I think I've had a great start so far!
