Things are finally deciding to come out of hibernation here in New England. I have been so jealous of my people in the south for their gardens blooming and azaleas in full swing. But finally here I m, enjoying every little new bud and the sound of birds waking me up.
As we took a Saturday morning walk, I feel like I was more sensitive than ever to the beautiful signs of new life on its' way. Chad and I just sat in the sun (or Chad sat while I took photos of my favorite plants..) but we took it in- the mild(ish) feel of the air- the timelessness of our first 'real' Spring Saturday morning.
I truly felt alive and happy just listening to the birds, walking with my best friend, and the magic of life altogether.
Spring is here- my time for new beginnings, inspiration, and sunshine.
Oh how I have missed being outside (and enjoying it)!!!
The trees are still bare, but the promise of newness is all around.
I even have evidence of spring in our home.
My kitchen table a couple of weeks ago.
My living room window daisies.
My kitchen window three weeks ago.
My kitchen table now.
My kitchen window now. Do you see what I see?

It's called Bletilla Striata and it's a type of orchid. I'm excited!!
Spring is here, and my heart is doing cartwheels!
