Our Saturday Morning

Chad and I woke up and I made a yummy breakfast of Mexican omelets and fresh raspberries, strawberries, and grapes. Of course with our beloved Community Coffee! Here's a recipe for the omelet. (Sorry I didn't take photos)

Mexican Omelet

3 eggs and a lil' milk
3 brown-and-serve sausage links
Diced jalapenos to taste- (I like jar jalapenos)
Shredded cheese
Tony's
Diced tomatoes
Pace Picante Sauce for top (or salsa of choice)

Turn broiler on. Brown sausages as directions say. Dice jalapenos and tomatoes while that's going. Scramble eggs, milk, and seasoning in cup. Let sausages drain oil on paper towels before cutting up. Add eggs to small skillet, followed by cut up sausage, then jalapenos and tomatoes, then cheese. Cook on medium for a few minutes, then instead of attempting to flip it, hold under the oven broiler until the top of the eggs are cooked and the cheese begins to brown. Fold in half and serve with salsa over the top. Delicious with fresh fruit! One omelet serves two.

We've had rain for WAY TOO LONG around here. It felt weird to see sun this morning! We took advantage by going for a walk. I took photos the whole time, in awe of all of the flowers and growth. I can't help it! Nature is my favorite thing to photograph. It's so relaxing! Chad is always (well almost) patient when I'm on a camera kick. Here are some shots from this morning.

Needless to say (although the afternoon will be spent packing for our move) we are having a great Saturday and hope you are, too!

Emilia's Musician Portraits

I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing beautiful Emilia with her flute. Emilia was one of the first friends I made here in the Boston area.

It was a perfect Sunday afternoon, and such of fun shoot!

Emilia also brought along her lil' piccolo.

It was such a pleasure to photograph such a talented musician.
I'll be sure to post a link of her website when it's up!

Boston Blooms

Happy Monday! It's been a while since I've posted, so here is what it's been looking like here.
It's warming up, although still jacket weather. We have been enjoying the explosion of growth around here. It really happens overnight!

As you can see, tulips everywhere! Can you tell that tulips and dogwoods are some of my favorites?
Have a great week!
