October in New England

Hmmm.... Where do I start?! I guess I'll just begin by letting you know that you're about to get a photo overload. Sorry! I haven't updated in a while, so I want to catch everyone up. October has been a busy month for us, and we have enjoyed the foliage as thoroughly as possible! I'll let the photos speak for themselves, mostly... saving you minutes in reading time!

Chad's family came to visit us, and we had a wonderful time showing them around and exploring. The leaves hadn't quite changed yet, but we still got to see a lot of cool stuff.

Chad and I with gigantic pumpkins!

We had a picnic near the Fruitlands Museum. BEAUTIFUL! We had stopped at a wine and cheese shop in Concord on the way, and stumbled upon the perfect picnic spot!

 Everyone really enjoyed the view!
We checked out the Old North Bridge

I love the small organic farms around here.

Chad and his dad admiring the swan gourds (I think that's what they're called)

I love this sculpture that was at the Fruitlands museum! So spunky

We went to Marblehead and walked along the harbor and beach
Here is Chad, Me, Brett, and Brett's girlfriend Tobie

Then we went to Salem. Did you know how many Sarahs were proclaimed to be witches and hung for it? It's a good thing I wasn't around then. My craziness surely would have had me hung.

I didn't take photos in the city... mainly because I don't like the touristy photos as much and I didn't want to carry my camera (I know... LAZY!) But we loved having company and can't wait for my little sister Katie to come for Thanksgiving!

Here are shots of foliage

I'll post more foliage shots later...

And a bouncy horse in the middle of a field... I love it!! I drive past this every day, and it reminds me of the purple and pink one we had at the first house I lived in. I think back on that bouncy imagination of galloping all over the place... then getting pinched by spring (ouch!)

Happy Halloween everyone. I'll be back after my beautiful cousin Meredith's wedding this weekend!
